Cool Stuff

Gem-minerals, water-worn and wind-blown until their beauty was revealed to man, were perhaps his earliest cherished posessions. Shining out from some gravel bed or upon the sands of sea, or desert, they early attracted him and probably became his first ornaments. Thay may have been worn before clothes. They became a part of his daily life, silent but inseperable companions of his sorrows, his hopes, his ambitions, and his final tragedy of death.
